September 2026 Update

The September 2026 update delivered the most substantial quality-of-life and progression overhaul since the Hunters + QoL patch. Mounts entered the game with three distinct tiers. Health and Mana potions gave every class on-demand recovery. The achievement system received permanent stat bonuses. Combat hitboxes expanded for more consistent skill registration. Dungeon improvements added enemy counters and new content tiers. This guide covers everything that shipped, what it changes for daily play, and how to use each system effectively.

Mounts system: 25% to 50% speed tiers

The mount system introduced three tiers with permanent movement speed bonuses. Basic Mount delivers 25% speed through early game quest completion. Combat Mount adds 30% speed plus stat bonuses through midgame dungeon material crafting. Shadow Dragon reaches 50% speed as the endgame mount reward.

Mounts are not cosmetic. The speed bonus applies to all mounted travel, which compresses transit time across every play session. Dungeon portal approach, shadow farming routes, mining runs, and PvP positioning all benefit from mounted travel. The Basic Mount acquisition is tied to the tutorial achievement track, which was redesigned in this patch to properly complete and reward new players. Veterans who had already passed the tutorial did not receive the mount retroactively.

For the full mount breakdown, see the Mounts Guide.

Health and Mana potions: instant recovery

Potions became the first consumable recovery system since launch. Health Potions deliver instant hit point restoration. Mana Potions restore skill resource immediately. Both address the bottleneck that occurred when natural regeneration could not keep pace with damage or mana consumption during intensive content.

Boss fights are the primary use case. Cerberus, Igris, and high-difficulty dungeon bosses all create scenarios where incoming damage exceeds natural regen. A potion at 10% health prevents the wipe that occurs when regeneration cannot catch up before the next damage phase. PvP and extended dungeon farming are secondary use cases where potions provide meaningful efficiency gains.

Acquisition runs through Guild Store purchases, dungeon chest drops, and quest rewards. Igris and Baruka dungeons have higher drop rates than entry-level content. Building a stock before major events or new dungeon releases is the recommended strategy.

For strategic potion usage, see the Potions Guide.

Achievement system: passive progression boosts

The achievement system received permanent stat bonuses that transform achievement completion from cosmetic tracking into meaningful progression. The Mining Achievement increases mining efficiency. The Arise and Extract Achievement expands arise and collect command range.

These bonuses compound over time. A player who has been mining for a month receives a measurable efficiency bonus compared to a new account. The Arise and Extract bonus reduces positioning time during shadow farming, which is most valuable for Assassin players running extended dungeon clears.

The tutorial achievement track was redesigned. It now properly completes after the guide conversation, which fixed a long-standing bug where new players could not finish the tutorial achievement. The track also rewards the Basic Mount.

For achievement optimization strategies, see the Achievements Guide.

Combat hitbox improvements

The combat hitbox expansion addresses one of the most frustrating issues for Mage players: skills that visually connected but did not register. Expanded hitboxes mean area-of-effect skills cover more consistent space, and projectile skills have a larger registration window.

This change benefits Mage more than any other class because the class relies on skill rotation consistency. An Assassin who misses a Frenzy burst can reposition. A Mage who misses a skill rotation has lost significant damage output. The hitbox expansion makes Mage skill rotations more reliable across ping conditions and server states.

Dungeon improvements: enemy counter and new content

The enemy counter system displays remaining enemies in each dungeon room. This eliminates the tedious search for the last enemy that spawned behind a wall or in a corner. Route planning becomes more efficient when you can see exactly how many enemies remain rather than clearing a room and hoping the last spawn is accessible.

Fan reports name Igris Dungeon and Elf Dungeon as new additions with unique shadow opportunities and material drops. Treat these as community-reported content until official documentation confirms the names and contents. The dungeons appear to be mid-to-endgame progression content based on the difficulty reports from players who have cleared them.

Game passes: Instant Arise and Instant Collect

Two game passes target the most repetitive aspects of shadow farming. Instant Arise performs all three arise attempts simultaneously. Instant Collect does the same for Stone Essence collection. Both reduce the micro-management burden during extended farming sessions.

These passes are most valuable for players who farm daily and spend significant time on shadow accumulation. The efficiency gain per session is small but compounds across daily play. Casual players who engage with shadow farming occasionally receive less value from these passes.

For the full gamepass comparison, see the Gamepasses page.

What this update does not change

The update does not merge Arise Ragnarok with Arise Crossover. These remain separate Roblox places with different content, codes, and progression systems. The title still reads Arise Ragnarok [Hunters + QoL] on the play page, which reflects the naming convention from the earlier patch rather than replacing it.

There is no public Trello board. The community continues to track systems through Discord and official social channels.

The Discord server banner reading UNDER REWORK is a community server management status, not a game shutdown signal. The Roblox experience remains live and actively maintained.

For the codes that remain active, see the Codes Hub. For dungeon strategies that benefit from the new systems, see Dungeons.
