Tier List

Best Classes in Arise Ragnarok

S-tier depends on whether you farm alone or party in 16-player dungeons — we print both camps and a practical pick.

Class Tier List

Arise Ragnarok gives you five classes at character creation: Assassin, Mage, Warrior, Tank, and Healer. You roll in the menu and can reroll with shop items or codes. There is no hidden sixth kit, and none of these are Crossover subclasses. What is hidden is consensus. Since the October 18, 2025 launch, two ranking camps have refused to collapse into one chart, and pretending they agree would make this list worse.

This page is the class board. Shadow priority lives on the shadow tier list. Race bonuses, still unofficial versus Pro Game Guides, live on the race tier list. Kit deep-dives sit under Classes. If you only want a button, use the class picker and come back when a reroll is on the line.

Two camps, printed honestly

Solo grind camp (the list most farmers quote today)

Assassin clears bosses and PvP with burst and mobility. Mage clears packs from range with four skill slots and no weapons. Tank and Warrior survive and still hit; they just take longer to empty a quest room. Healer keeps people up and slows your own grind when nobody is there to heal.

Launch / group camp (the list party discords still defend)

  • S: Healer, Warrior
  • Assassin ranked lower than the solo board
  • Mage, Tank remain playable but not the headline

At launch, group content rewarded a healer who could save a wipe and a Warrior who brought a huge melee weapon pool. Assassin looked greedy when a Tank already held the boss. That reading is not fake — it is what a 16-player dungeon feels like when four people stack roles. It is also a poor board if you spend most of your week soloing blue quests.

Practical wiki recommendation

Use this when you do not want to join a camp:

  • New or easy: Mage. Ranged, four skills, no weapons, AoE that forgives bad positioning. Read the Mage guide.
  • Fast solo and PvP: Assassin. Burst, stealth weapon roster, high mobility. Read the Assassin guide.
  • Group: Tank plus Healer. One body in front, one kit that actually supports. Read Tank and Healer.
  • Flexible melee: Warrior. Many weapons. Pro Game Guides still says this class has no skills, which is the kit we treat as canonical until CLGAMES publishes otherwise. Community pages that list named Warrior arts disagree with that table — see the Warrior guide for the conflict instead of a fake hybrid rank.

What Pro Game Guides actually published

PGG’s class blurb, written around the live codes page, is still the cleanest kit summary:

  • Mage — ranged, four skill slots, no weapons.
  • Warrior — melee, broad weapon access, no skills.
  • Assassin — similar to Warrior on paper, but a stealth-focused weapon roster instead of raw weapon variety.
  • Tank — mixed defense, two skill slots, still uses weapons.
  • Healer — support.

That is why Mage is the beginner default: you are not shopping a weapon ladder while you learn controls. Warrior is the opposite: your power is the shop and the dungeon chest, so class-locked loot matters immediately. Tank is the hybrid. Healer is the party contract. Assassin is the solo carry that group lists refuse to overrate.

Stats we actually recommend

Dump into the scaling stat first. Community breakpoints (for example 500–600 Mana or 500 Vitality) are targets, not law.

  • Assassin: Strength, then Mana, then Vitality, then Agility.
  • Mage: Intelligence, then Mana.
  • Tank: Vitality and Strength.
  • Warrior: Strength.
  • Healer: Intelligence, then Mana.

Agility is the loudest argument. Some farmers stop at 50 Agility and swear double jump is online. Pro Game Guides and other long-form guides describe a much higher bar, often 200+. This wiki will not pick a fake number. Test in the city hub, then keep the rest of your points on the scaling stat. Full spreadsheets belong on stats and builds.

Class-locked loot

Dungeon chests and shops tag weapons to a class. Do not equip the wrong class’s weapon. A Warrior blade on Mage does not secretly convert you into a melee mage; it bricks a slot. Salvage or store off-class drops, then spend the next dungeon window hunting your tag. The dungeon schedule exists so you stop missing those 15-minute portals.

When to reroll

Reroll if you rolled Healer and you play alone every night. Reroll if you rolled Warrior and you hate weapon hunting. Do not reroll Mage because a launch video called Healer S-tier. Do not reroll Assassin because a group list parked it below Warrior. Claim working codes first — several like-milestones that used to give class rerolls are now on the expired list. Then finish the getting started hour so you know whether the kit is the problem or your quest order is.

Shadows still scale off the class main stat (Intelligence for Mage and Healer, Strength for Assassin, Warrior, and Tank). A “bad” class with assassin-type shadows often outruns a “good” class that only Collects with R. Rank the kit, then rank the army. That is the whole point of keeping these boards separate on the Tier List Hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Arise Ragnarok on Roblox.

What is the best Arise Ragnarok class for a new player?

Mage. Four skill slots, no weapons, ranged AoE, and a kit that still works if you miss a dodge. Assassin is the better solo carry once you like melee burst.

Why is Healer S-tier on some lists and B-tier here?

Group lists score Healer as the difference between a clear and a wipe. Solo lists score the minutes it takes to kill a pack. This page prints both. If you queue with a Tank, Healer jumps up immediately.

Does Warrior really have no skills?

Pro Game Guides describes Warrior as melee with many weapons and no skills. Some community wikis name melee arts anyway. We treat PGG as the kit table and flag the disagreement on the Warrior page instead of inventing a third kit.

Should I put points in Agility for double jump?

Maybe. Farmers report 50 Agility; other guides, including PGG-style writeups, talk about 200+. Test jump in the hub, then return leftover points to Strength or Intelligence. See stats and builds.

Can I wear another class's dungeon weapon?

No. Loot is class-locked. Equip your tag only. Off-class weapons waste a slot even if the icon looks stronger.

Is this list for Arise Crossover?

No. Arise Ragnarok is the October 2025 CLGAMES place with these five classes. Crossover units and ranks do not transfer.
